The 19th Career Day brought together students and leading companies.

Organised by the Istanbul Beykent University Office of the Dean of Students, the 19th Career Day event brought students together with leading companies in the sector.

Organised by Istanbul Beykent University, the 19th Career Day event took place at Hadımköy Campus. The event drew strong interest from students, with over 40 companies taking part.

Speaking about the event, Dean of Students Serhat Butur noted that students most frequently asked questions such as, ‘Why should I choose your company?’ and ‘How will you contribute to my personal and professional development?’ Butur said, “Students now clearly express their expectations from employers. It was a highly productive event where individuals with strong self-confidence had direct contact with the business world and explored various career opportunities.”

During the event, students had the opportunity to engage one-on-one with professionals from various sectors, gain detailed insights into different industries, and take important steps towards achieving their career goals.

“The fairs we organise are proving beneficial in terms of employment outcomes.”

Emphasising the importance of Career Day, Butur said, “As in previous years, our students had the opportunity to introduce themselves by engaging directly with companies this year. The event, attended by thousands of students and graduates, made a significant contribution to their career planning. Additionally, the fairs we organise are proving beneficial in terms of employment outcomes. While 21% of our students secure employment before graduation, this rate increases to 33% within the first six months after graduation. When compared to the national average in Türkiye, our graduates form a highly successful group. We are committed to working tirelessly to sustain this success in the years to come.”

The event, featuring companies from diverse sectors such as media, finance, sports, and technology, enabled students to gain insights into various fields, evaluate internship and employment opportunities, and strengthen their industry connections.
