Registered Quality of Education in Gastronomy and Cooking

Being the only accreditation institution authorised by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) and the Higher Education Quality Council of Turkey (YÖKAK), Tourism Education Quality Assurance and Accreditation Council (TURAK) of Tourism Academicians Association (TUADER) has registered the quality of three more higher education institutions.

The number of accredited programmes has increased by 55%

University accreditations are one of the main factors students consider when choosing a university since they are given based on certain standards and measure the quality levels of education. The number of programmes accredited by national and international accreditation institutions reached 671 across Turkey as of 2019; whereas in 2016 it had been 433. Accordingly, the number of accredited programmes increased by 55% in 2019, compared to 2016. In 2019, accredited undergraduate programmes were 10.53% of all undergraduate programmes producing graduates. 

Registered Quality of Education

İzmir Kavram Vocational School and Beykent University Faculty of Fine Arts Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts, Beykent University Vocational School Cooking Programme, and Doğuş University Vocational School Cooking Programme have all been accredited by TUADER-TURAK, and are among the higher education institutions with a registered quality of education.
