Dear Students,

In accordance with the announcement of the Directorate of Council of Higher Education (YÖK) which states that universities with distance learning capacity can start digital education as of 23rd March 2020, as Beykent University’s School of Foreign Languages, we are continuing our Foreign Language Preparatory Programme education through distance learning platform “Zoom”.

The weekly programme will include 20-course hour live courses, and it will be supported with current materials by the Moodle platform where you can access to offline resources. We will continue in this way until the time for returning to the campus will be determined. Thus, the modular system will continue as an integrated module in the Spring Term, and the examinations will be held at a time to be determined later. 

Records of the classes which will be simultaneously held online for each level group will be shared with you so that you can watch later. Morning, Afternoon, and Evening groups within the English Preparatory Class will be held as used to be. The Russian Preparatory Class will be brought together within the Morning group, and the course timetables are planned as below. 

Morning Group: 

• Course #1: 09:00 – 09:45
• Course #2: 10:00 – 10:45
• Course #3: 11:15 – 12:00
• Course #4: 12:15 – 13:00

Afternoon Group: 

• Course #1: 13:00 – 13:45
• Course #2: 14:00 – 14:45
• Course #3: 15:15 – 16:00
• Course #4: 16:15 – 17:00

Evening Group: 

• Course #1: 17:30 – 18:15
• Course #2: 18:30 – 19:15
• Course #3: 19:45 – 20:30
• Course #4: 20:45 – 21:30
