Student Mobility for Traineeship

Students can do their traineeships at a business, research institute, laboratory, organisation or another business related to their field of study within the scope of the mobility. Students and recent graduates should be encouraged to do a traineeship abroad and study towards each study cycle. The Mobility for Traineeships includes prospective teachers’ teaching internships, students’ research assistantships and prospective physicians’ research activities. The mobility should complement students’ study programmes.

Traineeship activity does not necessarily have to be related to students’ diploma programme. However, it should be conducted in a business sector which is related to students’ vocational education programme.

Mobility period can last from a minimum of 2 months to maximum of 12 months for different academic levels (Associate Degree, Undergraduate Degree, Master’s Degree, PhD). Students at all years of their study as well as recent graduates who are within 12 months after graduation can do a traineeship within the scope of the mobility. If senior students decide to do their traineeships after graduation, they must apply for the mobility before graduation (when they are still enrolled at an associate, undergraduate or master’s degree programme). Graduates cannot apply for the mobility for traineeships.
