Date: 03 May 2021 2021-SMA-R&D / 2021-SMA-PRODUCT “Two New Project Calls for R&D and Validation Studies for Diagnosis of SMA Disease” Esteemed Academicians of Istanbul Beykent University, The Turkish Health Institutes Presidency (TÜSEB) has launched two project calls to support project proposals offering innovative solutions and technological products for the development and production of diagnostic kits to be used in processes such as risk prediction, early diagnosis, diagnosis, monitoring of disease progression, and treatment selection for SMA disease. Both calls aim to develop diagnostic kits and methods for the diagnosis of SMA disease, as well as other genetic diseases. Health technologies related to Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) will be prioritised within the scope of this call.
