Civil Aviation Cabin Services 

The Civil Aviation Cabin Services Programme educates prospective staff who are acquainted with such subjects as international civil aviation organizations and their rules, duties and responsibilities of flight attendants, inflight catering, standard safety procedures, crew resource management (CRM), passenger relations, emergency procedures, and first aid.

The duration of the Programme is two years. The Programme offers Turkish-medium instruction. English Preparatory Programme is offered optionally.

Evening education courses begin at 16.00 and finish at 22.00. Starting time is subject to change for some courses.

To be eligible to study at the Civil Aviation Cabin Services Programme, the special condition no. 49 in the ÖSYM (Centre for Assessment, Selection, and Placement) guide must be met.

The Special Condition No. 10:

1) Applicants must have no criminal record or criminal archive record.

2) Females must stand 160cm-180 cm tall (their weight must be 5 kilograms more or 15 kilograms less than the last two digits of their height in centimetres at most).

3) Males must stand 170-190 cm tall (their weight must be 5 kilograms more or 15 kilograms less than the last two digits of their height in centimetres at most). 

4) Medical condition of applicants must be conducive to flight (They must receive a medical report showing that their medical condition is conducive to flight from the healthcare organizations authorized by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation).

5) Applicants must have no tattoos, scars etc. that are visible when they are wearing the flight attendant uniform.
