History

The Department of History aims to educate authentic prospective historians with a broad prospective who can grasp the historical events, think systematically, develop research methods, and interpret past events objectively.

Taking courses focusing on a great variety of periods and topics in addition to the courses covering all the eras of the history of humanity, and history of Turks in particular, students of the 4-year Department of History find the opportunity to pursue their studies in different fields.

Medium of instruction at the Department of History is Turkish. English Preparatory Programme is optional.
