Student Mobility for Traineeship

Traineeship activity provides students with practical work experience on vocational education they are receiving. Traineeship activity does not necessarily have to be related to students’ diploma programme. However, it should be conducted in a business sector which is related to students’ vocational education programme.

Activity period can last from a minimum of 2 months to maximum of 12 months for different academic levels (Associate Degree, Undergraduate Degree, Master’s Degree, PhD). Traineeship activity can be conducted in each grade of period of study and within 12 months after graduation. If senior students decide to conduct their traineeship after the graduation, they need to apply before they graduate (while they are Associate Degree, Undergraduate Degree or Master’s Degree students). Graduate students cannot make an application.

If the institution is closed because of a holiday, traineeship activity may be interrupted. Grant is paid for the non-working days but these days are not added to activity period. In order to fulfil minimum working days, students must make a research about non-working days beforehand and make sure they will fulfil minimum working days. Weekends are not included in above-mentioned non-working days.
