6TH INTERNATIONAL STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT CONFERENCE

The 6th International Strategic Management Conference will be held in Saint Petersburg, Russia, at the Holiday Inn Hotel , between the dates of July 8 – 10, 2010. Organized jointly by Beykent University of İstanbul, Turkey, the Gebze Institute of Technology of Kocaeli, Turkey, and the Canakkale Onsekiz Mart University of Canakkale, Turkey, this year’s conference will benefit from the the kind support of Prime Ministry State Planning Organization of The Republic of Turkey. The main objective of the conference is to set a platform for discussion and exchange of views among academicians, strategists and practitioners coming from different backgrounds and countries.

This year’s conference theme, “Searching for strategies out of the global recession,” is part of the conference’s standing agenda of forging workable solutions from the convening of scientific study and practical experience. The principal impact of strategic management on the recent and future global developments in the fields of economy and business will be highlighted. Our distinguished participants will have the opportunity to present their valuable scientific contributions and to establish an international network among those who volunteer to communicate and study together in the field of strategic management.

The historic city of Saint Petersburg will provide an inspirational backdrop of grandeur to this annual convention of scholars and practitioners. The capital of the Russian Empire for more than 200 years, Saint Petersburg harbors a historic city center which, with its related groups of monuments, has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
